basic necro armor is only armor lvl 60, just like all other caster classes
see --> http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Necromancer_armor but don't really understand what you mean either? |

Only Tormentor and Necrotic stats are at AL70 thats why it has the Light damage increased on it.
All other stats are 60. What set were you looking at? |

Amnoon doesn't have max armor. Go to Droks Forge, Kaineng Center or Consulate Docks for max armor at regular prices.

amnoon does have 61 base armor, but its the tormentor/necrotic armor (the +dmg vs light dmg, remember?). normal base necro armor is 51 at amnoon, and 60 max.

His problem: He is looking at Tormentor's Armor, which used to be AL70 (+dmg vs holy) which would make the Oasis AL of the Tormentor's 61AL like he noted.
Now he is looking at armors, and noticed that the AL was 60 max even though he PLAINLY remembers Oasis's being 61 and it wasnt even max. So he is assuming necro armor was nerfed. His Solution: With the Insignia updates, all armor was reworded to where all extra armor is noted as being extra and isn't factored into the base (white colored) armor value. So instead of "AL70 +x holy damage" it is now written as "AL60 Armor+10 Light damage increased by x" So if one were ONLY looking at the base AL like he is, he would assume it was nerfed by 10 Armor lvls, when infact they are the same. The same confusion happened with Sentinals, which was changed from "100AL (req 13 str)" to "80AL +20 vs physical +20 vs elemental (req13 str)", people were just looking at the AL and assumed it was nerfed by 20... |

The "new" armor is now split up to show the properties of the INSIGNIA it inherently contains.

Holy and Light damage are for all purposes the exact same thing with different names.
As far as the damage you take, the additional damage bonus is now locational instead of global; that is, you used to take +5 damage from Holy/Light for each piece you had, meaning you would take +20 damage no matter where you got hit. Now you just take +6 on the chest, +4 on the legs, and +2 anywhere else.
